Worldline Share: +4.5%, one of the best performances on the SBF 120
The European payments specialist rebounds sharply during trading, significantly outperforming the Paris index. This uptick in activity follows a month of correction that had brought the stock valuation to very low levels.
A rebound of 4.34% that partially offsets the month's decline
The Worldline share gains 4.34% to €11.15, while the SBF 120 advances 0.21%. It ranks second in the index classification, behind SES (+5.24%). The increase brings the seven-day gain to 7.48%, but the stock remains down 19.48% over one month and 54.45% over one year. The rebound occurs in continuation of previous trading sessions, which has not yet managed to close the gap with moving averages.
The price remains below its three moving averages. It is 0.89% below the 20-day MA (€11.25), but 9.72% below the 50-day MA (€12.35) and 10.94% below the 200-day MA (€12.52). The RSI at 36 remains in a low zone, without clear oversold signal. Resistance at €14.55 is still far away, while support at €10.21 lies 8.4% below the current price.
Low valuation and short positions that are easing
According to the consensus of analysts surveyed, the stock trades at approximately 3.6 times expected earnings for the current fiscal year and 3.3 times for the following year. This discount was built with the year's decline, which the latest results did not reverse: when publishing first-half 2026 results (July 30), the group had halved its debt and revised down its annual growth. Four funds hold 3.09% of the capital sold short according to disclosed filings, slightly down 0.18 points over thirty days.
This level remains elevated: institutional investors continue to be positioned against the value, without acceleration over the past month. Today's rebound is accompanied by this slight easing of bearish bets, which coming sessions will tell if it continues.
