Atari Under Pressure After Annual Revenue Warning
Atari has lowered its revenue expectations for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, now anticipating about $50 million compared to the previously expected $60 million. This adjustment comes as the group still expects significant growth and a return to operational profitability.
Revenue Forecast Adjustment for Fiscal Year 2026
Atari announced on Monday a revision of its revenue forecasts for the fiscal year 2026. The company now anticipates revenue of about $50 million, down from the initially expected $60 million. According to the company, this adjustment is due to current and expected performance in the second half of the year. Despite this revision, Atari emphasizes that this fiscal year would mark the third consecutive year of approximately 40% growth, bringing revenues to their highest level in over a decade.
Positive Operational Outlook Despite Revenue Adjustment
The group still expects to achieve a positive current operating result and positive operational cash flow for the full year. With the expected integration of Thunderful, whose consolidation began on September 1, 2025, consolidated revenues are expected to reach about $60 million, thus accelerating the group's growth. Atari continues to execute its strategic plans initiated in 2022, focusing on its video game activities and strengthening its publishing capabilities, including through the acquisitions of Digital Eclipse, Nightdive Studios, and Thunderful.
