Corbion Appoints Former J.P. Morgan Executive to Supervisory Board
Corbion has announced the proposed appointment of Bob Elfring to the Supervisory Board for a four-year term, pending approval at the general shareholders' meeting on May 13, 2026.
Extensive Experience in Financial Leadership
Bob Elfring, a Dutch national, has been appointed to join the Supervisory Board of Corbion. With over thirty years of experience as a senior executive in investment banking, corporate finance, and capital markets, Mr. Elfring has held executive roles at prestigious global financial institutions. Notably, he served as the Vice President of Investment Banking for the EMEA region at J.P. Morgan, and held leadership positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, MeesPierson, Amsterdam Investment Bank, Rabobank, and AMRO Bank.
Role and Responsibilities
Mr. Elfring will begin his duties as an advisor to the Supervisory Board starting April 1, 2026. His appointment will become effective following the general shareholders' meeting on May 13, 2026, subject to approval. This appointment is part of a planned succession within the Supervisory Board and does not alter the size of the Board. Mr. Elfring currently serves as a non-executive director at ASR Nederland, vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board of Royal BAM Group, and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vuyk Holding.
