CRIT Group: Revenue Up, but Profit Halved by 2025
CRIT Group released its annual 2025 results on Tuesday, showing a revenue of 3,372 million euros, up by 7.9%. This increase is almost exclusively due to the integration of OPENJOBMETIS, an acquisition made in Italy in May 2024. Organically, the activity of the temporary work and airport assistance giant remains stagnant, revealing underlying tensions despite initial signs of a restart at the end of the year.
Revenue Growth Driven by Acquisition
The consolidated revenue of the group amounted to 3,372.0 million euros in 2025 compared to 3,124.0 million in 2024, an increase of 248 million euros. However, this growth is revealingly broken down: the perimeter impact linked to the integration of OPENJOBMETIS represents 8.4 percentage points of growth. In organic growth adjusted for working days, revenue remained strictly stable compared to 2024. The Temporary Work division, which accounts for 86.7% of the activity, recorded 2,924.3 million euros, up by 8.6%, again supported by the integration of OPENJOBMETIS throughout the year compared to only eight months in 2024. In France, where the group generates 52.4% of the Temporary Work division's activity, revenue even showed a decline of 2.5% organically. The airport activity, benefiting from sustained air traffic, progressed by 4.0% to 462.7 million euros.
EBITDA Declines Amid Market Tensions
The group's EBITDA contracted to 145.3 million euros in 2025 from 149.1 million in 2024, while the EBITDA margin fell by 50 basis points to 4.3%. This deterioration reflects commercial tensions in key markets, particularly in France. The current operating income decreased to 89.2 million compared to 98.6 million the previous year. The group recorded other charges of 26.1 million euros, related to the impairment of American entities. According to the statement, this impairment is due to a cautious policy in the face of an unfavorable context and results below expectations, although the group reaffirms its confidence in the rebound potential of these activities. The group's net income dropped to 31.2 million euros from 73.0 million in 2024, a decline of 57.3%. This decrease is also explained by a negative financial result of 2.4 million euros, notably due to a currency loss of 6.6 million euros on assets denominated in dollars.
Strong Financial Foundation Despite Commercial Tensions
Despite commercial tensions, the group has a robust financial foundation. The cash flow from operations amounts to 136.9 million euros and the group shows a net cash surplus of 135.1 million euros as of December 31, 2025. This financial asset gives it flexibility to continue its acquisition strategy announced for the coming months. The gradual improvement observed in the fourth quarter of 2025, particularly in France with an organic growth of 2% in the Temporary Work division, and internationally with a progression of 4.4%, is seen by the group as an encouraging signal. In the airport sector, visibility remains good thanks to the maintenance of high air traffic. CRIT Group approaches 2026 with confidence, reaffirming its ability to adapt and its strategy of geographical diversification. A dividend of 1.50 euros per share will be proposed at the general meeting on June 5, 2026, with payment scheduled for July 6, 2026.
