DON'T NOD Reveals Aphelion: Set for Release on April 28, 2026 on PC and Consoles
DON'T NOD has unveiled a new trailer for Aphelion, its third-person cinematic action-adventure game, during the ID@Xbox Showcase. The game is scheduled for release on April 28, 2026, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Exploring New Horizons in Aphelion
The new trailer focuses on the character Ariane and her experiences throughout her journey, while touching upon her past relationship with Thomas. It unveils new vistas of the planet Persephone, showcasing breathtaking and perilous landscapes, as well as new gameplay sequences featuring the Nemesis. Aphelion is a science fiction game set at the edge of the solar system where players take on the roles of ESA astronauts Ariane and Thomas, exploring the uncharted planet Persephone to unravel the mystery of a crash while surviving the threats posed by an unknown and hostile life form.
Pre-Order Details and Special Offers
Xbox and PlayStation players can now pre-order the game to receive the Day One edition with a 10% discount on both platforms (available only to PS+ subscribers on PlayStation). A physical PlayStation 5 edition, named the Pioneer Edition, is also available for pre-order and will be released on July 2. On April 26 at 6 PM, DON'T NOD will host a Q&A session during the Games Made In France event, featuring members of the production team.
