Fountaine Pajot: Revenue Declines by 12.8%, but the Group Accelerates Range Renewal
Amidst geopolitical and economic uncertainties, Fountaine Pajot navigates between two distinct realities. On one hand, the revenue for the first half of fiscal year 2025/26 (September 2025 - February 2026) stands at €136.2 million, marking a 12.8% decline compared to the same period in 2024/25. On the other hand, the group does not slow down its strategic investments, continuing an unprecedented range renewal plan aimed at transforming its commercial offering within two fiscal years. This strategy appears as a bet: maintaining a product innovation momentum despite weaker demand.
Revenue Decline Contextualized
The 12.8% decline in revenue occurs in a more demanding economic context, yet remains controlled according to the group. This performance is particularly supported by the commercial success of new models FP41 and FP44 for sailing catamarans, and Dufour 41 and Dufour 44 for monohulls. Internationally, 88% of sales were made through exports. Europe accounts for 34% of revenue, North America for 28%, major export markets for 8%, the Caribbean for 16%, and the domestic French market for 12%. This diversified geographic distribution demonstrates the global reach of the brand, although the focus on export zones also reflects a dependency on international markets.
Ambitious Product Development Plan
Over two fiscal years, Fountaine Pajot will have implemented the most ambitious product development plan in its history, launching seven new models: FP41, FP44, FP48, FP55, FP70, D44, and D48. By the end of the current fiscal year, nearly 70% of the range will have been renewed. This upscale strategy is organized around two complementary segments: a core range covering units up to 55 feet, and a high-end segment dedicated to yachts over 60 feet. The group plans to launch a 120-foot model within two years. Concurrently, the introduction of the new Dufour 54 aims to strengthen the monohull offering in the upper segment and consolidate the premium positioning of the Dufour brand. This rapid renewal involves significant investments in research and development, production tools, and marketing.
Strategic Milestone with E-LEKTRA MARINE
Fountaine Pajot takes a strategic step forward with the creation of E-LEKTRA MARINE, a joint venture equally owned with the Bénéteau Group, dedicated to electric propulsion and smart energy management on board. This structure combines seven major brands (Bénéteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Excess, Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans, Fountaine Pajot Yachts, and Dufour), representing together 60% of the global market. The announced goal is to structure a common standard for low-emission sailing, with the ambition to convert 10 to 15% of the global sailing market to electric by 2030. This alliance in the field of electrification solidifies the group's position as a technological pioneer, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
