Logic Instrument Delivers 60,000 Teleassistance Terminals to Arkéa Care
ARCHOS' subsidiary has reached a new milestone in its partnership with teleassistance operator Arkéa Care, according to a statement released this Tuesday. The delivered equipment secures over 25,000 active subscribers.
Extensive Deployment of Teleassistance Devices
Since the beginning of its collaboration with Arkéa Care, Logic Instrument has delivered over 60,000 terminals designed for teleassistance, the company reports. This deployment is based on two distinct devices designed by Arkéa Care and manufactured by Logic Instrument. The NANO box, an ultra-compact and autonomous 4G and Wi-Fi transmitter, ensures a permanent high-definition audio connection with listening centers. The touch control panel, intended for Premium offers, integrates security functions, 24/7 medical teleconsultation, as well as family services such as video calls and photo sharing, via an interface suitable for seniors. These devices are part of the Silver Economy and secure over 25,000 active subscribers daily, according to the statement.
Integration of Sonaid Technology in Teletransmitters
Arkéa Care has now incorporated Sonaid technology into its teletransmitters, the group indicates. This artificial intelligence technology, resulting from research conducted at Inria, was developed in collaboration with the University of Lorraine and Tokyo Metropolitan University. Presented at CES in Las Vegas, Sonaid enhances Arkéa Care's offering by analyzing voice, intonation, and the sound environment to detect distress situations. The system allows for automatic assistance activation, in addition to the traditional SOS button, especially when the person is unable to take voluntary action. According to the statement, this embedded technology improves responsiveness by enabling connection to the listening center within seconds of detecting an abnormal situation, without requiring manual activation by the user.
Development of a New Technological Platform
Arkéa Care and Logic Instrument are working on the development and manufacturing of a new technological platform intended to progressively replace existing models, according to the statement. Antoine Lefebvre, CEO of Arkéa Care, discusses a partnership with the ARCHOS group that spans over 10 years and highlights shared values such as innovation, sovereignty, and territoriality. ARCHOS, a French company listed on the Euronext Growth Paris market, operates on three pillars: defense and industry in mobile solutions, consumer electronics, and health. The group includes several subsidiaries such as Logic Instrument, Elexo, Glacier Computer, Artic, Distrame, O2i engineering, Poladerme, Dextrain, and Domisanté.
