Netgem Secures Contract with Vialis to Deploy PLEIO Platform in Alsace
Netgem and Vialis have reached an agreement to deploy the PLEIO platform among subscribers of the Alsatian operator. This entertainment offering combines television, streaming, and cloud gaming in a single interface.
Comprehensive Entertainment Hub
Netgem and Vialis have established a partnership focused on the deployment of PLEIO, a premium entertainment hub, to Vialis subscribers in France. The agreement includes the full integration of the PLEIO platform, which merges linear and replay television, thematic FAST channels, access to streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, and others), as well as 250 cloud gaming titles. The service is provided with a next-generation Android TV box equipped with voice control and a wireless game controller.
Enhanced Content Access for Existing Customers
Existing Vialis customers can access this content and product evolution at no additional cost. The PLEIO offer also incorporates multi-screen applications allowing content access on multiple devices. Netgem delivers a complete solution that combines premium content and technology, aimed at enabling telecom operators to focus on their network and customer relationships.
Expansion into Continental Europe
PLEIO was initially launched by Netgem in the United Kingdom and is recognized as a model for next-generation entertainment services. Its deployment in France with Vialis marks the expansion of this platform into continental Europe. Vialis is a mixed-economy company in Alsace involved in electricity, natural gas, telecommunications, and lighting.
