Rémy Cointreau Unveils RC Forward, a Comprehensive Three-Year Transformation Plan
Rémy Cointreau has announced the launch of RC Forward, a transformation plan aimed at reclaiming its markets and sustainably improving profitability. Concurrently, the group is reorganizing its governance and executive committee to accelerate the execution of this strategy.
Strategic Directions of the Transformation Plan
The transformation plan revolves around five strategic pillars: strengthening the efficiency of the distribution network, enhancing Revenue Growth Management, optimizing A&P investments, streamlining procurement, and simplifying the organization to speed up execution. According to CEO Franck Marilly, this initiative aims to make the group less dependent on macroeconomic cycles, bolster the entrepreneurial spirit of the teams, and free up additional resources to reinvest in growth. Rémy Cointreau will present the initial progress of the plan and its three-year value creation ambition during its annual results presentation on June 4, 2026.
Executive Committee and Governance Restructuring
The group has established a steering committee within the executive committee to drive the transformation. Luca Marotta is appointed Deputy CEO of the group. Ian McLernon becomes Director of Group Markets, overseeing a new zone dedicated to emerging markets. Mélanie Boulord and Clarisse Petit retain their roles as Director of Operations & CSR Group and Director of Human Resources Group, respectively. A Director of Brands will be appointed later; Franck Marilly will assume this responsibility in the interim. The executive committee is expanded with the creation of a Prestige division, headed by Ludovic du Plessis, responsible for the brands Louis XIII, Telmont, and Maison Psyché. Célia d'Everlange is appointed Chief Transformation Officer for the duration of the plan, while also maintaining her role as Director of Financial Communication. Two cross-functional roles are created: an Innovation Lab led by Douglas Taylor and an Executive Lab under the responsibility of Sophie Phe, to foster innovation and accelerate the execution of certain transformation projects.
