SPIE Acquires INVIZO, Slovak Specialist in Building Security
SPIE, the European leader in multi-technical services in energy and communications, announces the acquisition of INVIZO s.r.o., a Slovak company specializing in building security systems and smart technical solutions. This move is part of a strategy to expand the group's technical services portfolio in Slovakia.
Acquisition Details
SPIE has acquired INVIZO s.r.o., established in 1997, through its subsidiary SPIE Elektrovod, a Slovak company specializing in engineering and installation services for energy infrastructure. INVIZO offers a range of services that includes the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of building security systems: electronic fire protection, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and smart electrical installations. The company serves commercial, industrial, and public sector clients throughout the complete lifecycle of technical systems, from initial design to operation, maintenance, and modernization. INVIZO also provides 24/7 technical support and offers associated software solutions.
Strategic Significance
According to Jakub Kolesár, CEO of SPIE Elektrovod, this acquisition is a significant step in expanding the technical services portfolio in Slovakia beyond energy infrastructure. INVIZO's expertise in building security and smart installations complements the existing capabilities of the SPIE group and allows for more integrated and comprehensive solutions for clients while strengthening the group's position in the Slovak market.
