ABL Diagnostics Signs Contract Potentially Worth €2.7M Through 2031
ABL Diagnostics announced on Friday the signing of a multi-year agreement with a European pharmaceutical company specializing in neurodegenerative diseases. Operated by its sister company CDL Pharma, the contract extends until 2031 and could reach a total value of €2.7M.
Integrated Services for International Clinical Trials
The contract involves operational services carried out by CDL Pharma and distributed by ABL Diagnostics. It covers the operational management of international clinical trials, logistics and transportation of biological samples, design and management of collection kits, cryogenic storage, and biomarker analysis. The partnership is part of a clinical program involving 30 centers across 11 countries (North America, Europe, and Asia). ABL Diagnostics acts as the distributor of these services to the end client. Mohamed Errafyqy, Director of Sales and Operations at ABL Diagnostics, stated: "This contract demonstrates our ability to support complex clinical programs and to offer integrated service solutions."
Amounts and Revenue Recognition Schedule
The agreement includes an initial payment of over €100,000 upon signing. The total contractual value could reach approximately €2.7M by 2031. Revenues will be recognized progressively based on the actual performance of services and will depend on the real progress of the clinical program. This contract helps to improve the visibility of future revenues over several financial years and illustrates the gradual development of ABL Diagnostics' value-added services in international clinical research.
