ADP stock declines more than 2%, against the trend of a rising CAC 40
Aéroports de Paris remains under pressure this afternoon, contrary to a CAC 40 that advances more than 1% during the session. The stock erases the rebound initiated Wednesday following Deutsche Bank's change of opinion, and falls back below its main moving averages for the second consecutive session.
A marked decline that places the stock among the strongest declines of the SBF 120
The Aéroports de Paris stock loses 2.15% to €109.10 during the session, while the SBF 120 gains 1% in the same period. This divergence propels the stock among the strongest declines in the index. The week remains however almost stable (+0.46% over seven days), which reflects strong intraday volatility rather than a clear directional trend over the recent period. The three moving averages now weigh on the value: The price is trading below the MA20 at €113.36 (gap of -3.76%), below the MA50 at €112.14 (gap of -2.71%) and below the MA200 at €112.54 (gap of -3.06%).
This positioning below all moving averages confirms short-term downward pressure, especially as the MACD remains in negative territory. The RSI at 49 remains neutral, without marked oversold signal for now. The support at €104.60 constitutes the next level to monitor in case the decline continues.
Deutsche Bank at buy with a €130 target: an objective that implies an upside potential of nearly 19%
Despite today's decline, the analytical context remains favorable. Deutsche Bank upgraded its opinion on the stock to "buy" on August 26, simultaneously raising its price target from €110 to €130. At the current price of €109.10, this target represents an upside potential of approximately 19%.
The analysts' opinion had already been highlighted Wednesday during the stock's rebound, but was not sufficient to sustain the bullish momentum this Friday. On the fundamentals side, ADP had lowered its 2026 guidance when publishing the first half results on July 30, now anticipating current EBITDA between €2,300 and €2,350 million, compared to more than €2,350 million initially targeted in the 2025 annual results published on March 13, 2026. The resistance at €123 remains still far, more than 12% above the current price.
