Agfa Continues to Pursue Recovery of Receivable from Sale of Offset Solutions
Agfa announced in a press release on February 16, 2026, that the payment of a receivable amounting to 19.9 million euros related to the divestiture of its Offset Solutions division was not honored on the due date of February 6, 2026. The Belgian group indicates that it will take appropriate actions to secure the payment of this sum.
Details of the Outstanding Receivable
The receivable in question arises from the sale of Agfa's Offset Solutions division. It follows the final report of an independent expert issued on January 16, 2026, regarding the price adjustment provided in the divestiture agreement. This adjustment consists of two parts: 14.7 million euros for the contested portion and 5.2 million euros for the uncontested portion. The total payment of 19.9 million euros was due on February 6, 2026. To date, only 2.0 million euros concerning the contested portion have been paid previously.
Agfa's Legal Actions to Secure Payment
Agfa has formally notified the buyer of the non-payment and has demanded immediate settlement, without having received the amounts due at this stage. The group states that it will pursue 'all appropriate courses of action' to secure the payment of the receivable. No resolution timeline is specified in the release.
