Airbus: A Dividend of 3.20 Euros and Two New Board Members
Airbus has released the agenda for its Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 14, 2026, in Amsterdam. The aerospace manufacturer will submit for shareholder vote the partial renewal of its Board of Directors and the approval of the 2025 dividend.
New Board Member Nominations
Airbus proposes the nomination of Henriette Hallberg Thygesen, current CEO of Danish defense and aerospace company Terma A/S since 2024, as a non-executive member of the board for a three-year term. She will replace Professor Feiyu Xu, whose term expires at the end of the meeting. The resolution also includes the nomination of Oliver Zipse, chairman of the board of the automotive group BMW since 2019, as a non-executive member for a one-year term. He will succeed Victor Chu, who will resign on the date of the meeting. The mandates of directors Mark Dunkerley, Stephan Gemkow, and Antony Wood are up for renewal for three years.
Staggered Board Renewals
Airbus is renewing board mandates in successive blocks to ensure a gradual transition of its composition, thereby avoiding the simultaneous departure of a large number of members and the risks of loss of experience that could result. The general meeting will also have to decide on the payment of a gross dividend of 3.20 euros per share for the fiscal year 2025. The documents related to the meeting, including the notice of meeting detailing all resolutions and related explanations, are available on the group's investor relations website.
