Amundi share hits historic record and approaches €97.20
The Paris-based asset manager reached an unprecedented all-time high on Tuesday, surpassing its previous record of €97.05. This new peak comes in a context of particularly strong performance over recent weeks, backed by solid half-year results published at the end of July and a series of upward revisions to price targets by analysts.
A historic record at €97.20 driven by underlying bullish momentum
The Amundi share touched €97.20 during trading on Tuesday, surpassing the previous all-time high of €97.05. The share price has since pulled back slightly to €96.45, down 0.21% from the previous close. This new record is part of a robust upward trajectory: the share is showing a gain of nearly 9% over seven days and exceeds 17% over three months.
The SBF 120, of which Amundi is a constituent, is practically flat during trading (-0.03%). The momentum of the asset manager thus contrasts with the general trend of the broad Paris index, which is advancing only marginally. This peak is a direct continuation of the first-half 2026 results published on July 30, which reported adjusted net income up 29% in the second quarter and assets under management at a record level of 2,581 billion euros.
UBS raises its target to €105 following the half-year results, moving well above moving averages
Two revisions of analyst opinions frame this new record. UBS raised its target from €97 to €105 with a Buy rating, published today, which represents an upside potential of nearly 9% compared to the current share price of €96.45. Oddo BHF, for its part, raised its target from €90 to €98 on August 3, accompanied by an "outperform" opinion.
The technical picture confirms the magnitude of the move: the share is trading above its 20-day moving average at €89.35 (a gap of nearly 8%) and exceeds its 50-day moving average at €86.17 by nearly 12%. The RSI at 76 signals a marked overbought configuration, characteristic of a share that has accelerated rapidly and is now trading in tight territory. UBS's new target of €105 constitutes the next numerical reference point to watch to gauge the continuation of the move.
