Aperam's Stock Climbs 2.5% and Retests Its MM50, Among the Top Performers in the SBF 120
The Luxembourg-based steelmaker marks one of the best performances of the broader Paris index in Monday's session. The rebound extends the upward trend that began in early July, in a well-oriented Parisian market. The stock is retesting a key moving average, one month after breaking its supports.
A Rebound of More Than 2.5% Bringing the Stock Back to Its MM50 at €47.84
Aperam's stock gains 2.57% to €47.84, among the strongest rises in the SBF 120 while the broader index is up by 0.49%. This movement brings the stock exactly back to its MM50 (€47.84), after several sessions below this level. The RSI at 52 moves out of the neutral zone upwards, in line with a MACD whose histogram returns to positive territory (+0.59). The rebound brings the weekly performance to 6.31%, while the stock maintains a significant gap of 22.4% above its MM200 at €39.08, illustrating the strength of the rally since spring.

The group had indicated in early July that it was targeting an adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter significantly higher than the €90M of Q1, driven by the recovery of Brazilian activities and the effect of European commercial defense measures on imports. This outlook triggered a surge of nearly 8% on July 3, following the trend in the European steel sector. Over three months, the stock now shows a gain of 12.62%, and 76.53% over one year. The resistance identified at €51.65 remains the next technical threshold to cross to extend the movement.
