Aperam shares fall 20.5% over one month and attempt a 2.5% rebound
The stainless steel producer recovers at the end of the session in a well-oriented French market. This move follows a long slide that brought the stock well below its summer levels.
A rebound that leaves the stock below its three moving averages
The Aperam stock gains 2.59% to €35.66 as the close approaches, while the CAC 40 rises 1.25% and the SBF 120 by a similar amount.
The recovery remains modest compared with the recent trend: the share price has lost 20.26% over one month and 25.49% over three months. It still sits 5.64% below its MA20 and 16.05% below its MA50, showing that the day's rebound has not erased the gap accumulated since the start of autumn.
The RSI at 32 remains close to the oversold zone, and the stock is trading just above its €34.76 support, the previous day's closing price. This rebound follows Wednesday's session, when the stock had broken below its €35.40 support.

On October 6, in a progress update on its market trends, the group had confirmed an expected decline in EBITDA for the third quarter. It described unchanged low European demand and an energy cost of about €20 million per quarter. Since that announcement, the stock has continued to fall.
Brent, at $109.87 per barrel (-1.59% intraday), remains at a high level, a factor that weighs on steelmaking costs.
Over the week, the loss still reaches 4.4%, and today's session only partially recovers it.
