Ateme and Netflix have entered into a multi-year agreement concerning the deployment of Ateme's TITAN Live transcoder. This solution provides real-time encoding that optimizes bandwidth across various codec formats. The TITAN Live transcoder has won multiple Emmy® Awards and is designed to maximize video quality, measured using objective metrics such as VMAF, and monitored through rigorous subjective evaluations to minimize visual artifacts.
Supporting Live Streaming Workflows
The agreement aims to support Netflix's live streaming workflows. No contractual amount has been disclosed. The collaboration represents a joint effort combining the expertise of Netflix and Ateme to advance the broadcasting of live media events.
