Atos Group Shares Bounce 4% and Climb to the Top of the SBF 120
Atos Group's stock sharply rebounds in mid-morning trading, following a week's end still marked by declines. The stock climbs to the top of the broad index rankings in a Parisian market that is otherwise on the decline.
A Marked Rebound Propels Atos Among the Top Gainers of the SBF 120
Atos Group's share price gains 4% to €34.32, while the SBF 120 drops by 0.23% and the CAC 40 declines by 0.29%. The stock is among the top gainers of the SBF 120, just behind Soitec. This movement comes after a Friday session which saw a technical support level broken, despite a series of favorable commercial and financial announcements. In recent days, the group has achieved several operational milestones: selection by CAIH to support 2,500 health establishments, delivery of the information system for the Future Radio Network to ACMOSS, and repayment of a term loan accompanied by a tender offer for €743.7 million in bonds as part of a refinancing initiated in May. Today's rebound mitigates the monthly decline, which remains substantial at around -13% over thirty days.
A Technical Rebound from the €33 Support Level, But Moving Averages Remain Out of Reach
The stock is rebounding from the €33 support level after several sessions of selling pressure. The RSI at 34 indicates recent seller exhaustion and allows for a technical rebound, though there is no sign of a lasting turnaround at this stage. However, the price continues to trade significantly below its moving averages: the MM20 at €35.86 is about 4.3% above the current price, and the MM200 at €44.35 remains more than 22% above, indicating a still deteriorating long-term trend. Based on the expected earnings per share and according to the consensus of surveyed analysts, the stock is priced at approximately 8.9 times the earnings for the current fiscal year. Crossing the MM20 will be the next technical milestone to assess the strength of the rebound observed during the session.
