Formation of a Global Content Platform
The merger combines Banijay Entertainment and All3Media with RedBird IMI to create a global content platform. The combined entity will encompass over 170 creative labels across 25 countries, operating in all major English-speaking regions and distributing content in nearly 250 territories. The combined catalog will exceed 260,000 hours of content with an annual production of about 20,000 hours. The merger will cover scripted and unscripted content, factual and natural history, as well as digital, live, and immersive experiences.
Regulatory Approvals and Financial Details
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be finalized by fall 2026. Banijay Group recorded a revenue of 4.8 billion euros and an adjusted EBITDA of 900 million euros in 2024. Banijay Entertainment generated revenues of 3,348 million euros and an EBITDA of 528 million euros in 2024.
