bioMérieux share: the stock settles above its 79.70 € resistance level
The in vitro diagnostics manufacturer is standing out sharply from a slightly rising Paris stock exchange. The stock is extending a rebound initiated since late September and ranks among the top performers of its index.
A resistance overcome during trading and a price at the doorstep of its 200-day moving average
The bioMérieux stock gains 4.61% to 81.75 €, placing it among the strongest gains of the SBF 120, while the index advances 0.66%. It has overcome its resistance at 79.70 € during trading and is holding above it, following a surge of more than 12% in one week at the end of September. The price is now 9.8% above its 20-day moving average (74.46 €), but still 1.55% below the 200-day moving average at 83.04 €. Over one month, the stock gains 10.1%, while its decline over one year remains 29.9%.
A GO-28 plan confirmed and a commercial launch in the background
During the first half 2026 results published on August 4, the group confirmed its annual outlook: organic revenue growth between 3% and 5%, and CEBIT up 0% to 10%. The four growth drivers of the GO-28 plan had advanced 6% organically at that time, but the 17% decline in BIOFIRE® respiratory panels and an unfavorable currency effect of 35 M€ had weighed on the period. The group launched at the end of September Spinchip, a troponin test in ten minutes for emergency departments. The 200-day moving average at 83.04 € is the next technical benchmark for the stock.
