Bolloré Shares Climb 3% and Challenge Key Resistance at €5.60
The stock of the Breton holding company picks up speed mid-session and moves to the front of the pack in the broad index. The rise occurs as the Parisian market remains largely flat, supported by easing oil markets and a calm market environment following central bank decisions.
Bolloré Shares Bounce to €5.57 and Join the Top Gainers of the SBF 120
Bolloré shares advance 3.15% to €5.57 at mid-session, marking one of the strongest gains in the SBF 120, while the broad index remains nearly stable (+0.09%). This movement extends a solid underlying momentum: +5% over a month and nearly 15% over three months. The session contrasts with the decline recorded on June 4, when the stock had lost 2.6% in the wake of Vivendi amid legal disputes. Today's rebound also occurs in a context of relaxation in the oil sector, with Brent trading at $79.41 after a decline of nearly 16% since June 8, which reduces the fuel bill for the group's logistics activities.
Breaking the €5.60 Resistance in Sight, Stretched Valuation
In terms of levels, the stock returns to contact its identified resistance at €5.60, after having regained the upper hand over all its moving averages: it is 2.2% above the MM20 (€5.45), 5.1% above the MM50 (€5.30), and nearly 14% above the MM200 (€4.89). The RSI at 52 remains in a neutral zone, which leaves room before an overheating configuration. However, the valuation remains demanding: according to the consensus of analysts surveyed, the stock is trading at about 49.6 times the earnings expected for the current fiscal year and 43.4 times those of the next fiscal year, with an expected earnings per share growth of 14.1%. CIC Market Solutions confirmed yesterday its buy rating with a target of €6.40, representing a potential of about 15% from the current price. The sustainable crossing of €5.60 will be the next technical step to watch.
