Bolloré Share Falls 1.75% and Remains Blocked Below Its 50-Day Moving Average After a 53% Rise in Q3
The Breton holding retreats in a Paris market near equilibrium. The decline occurs five days after the publication of a sharp revenue increase in the third quarter, and the stock remains at a distance from its support level.
A Share Stuck to Its Moving Averages, Midway Between Support and Resistance
The Bolloré share declines 1.75% to €3.70 following a close of €3.76 the previous day, placing it among the declining values of the SBF 120 while the index remains stable.
The price is in contact with its 20-day moving average (€3.69) but remains below the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, both at €3.72: the gap is only 0.65%, so any modest recovery would bring the share back to these benchmarks.
The support at €3.61 and the resistance at €3.81 frame this zone. Over one month, the gain reaches 2.4%, but the share has lost 6.4% over three months, and the RSI at 50 indicates neither oversold nor overbought conditions.
Revenue Driven by Oil Prices, Not by Volumes
The group published on October 23 a revenue increase of 53% in the third quarter, with €851 million out of €937 million generated by Bolloré Energy. Over the first nine months, this division advances 24% organically, but its volumes decline by 11%: growth is therefore driven by prices.
Among the risks cited during this publication are also the weakness of Blue activities (Bluebus) and the 3% decline in real estate revenues.
In terms of valuation, according to the consensus of analysts surveyed, the share is trading at approximately 36.6 times current fiscal year earnings. CIC Market Solutions maintained its buy rating on October 26 with a target of €4.40, representing a potential upside of nearly 19% compared to the current price.
