CAC 40: Stellantis Plummets by 19%, Vinci Soars Nearly 6%
[Flash] - The CAC 40 is down 0.69% at 8181.7 points this Friday, February 6 at 10:00 AM. The session is marked by a stark contrast between Stellantis, which plunges by 19%, and Vinci, which jumps by 5.9% following the publication of their annual results.
Vinci leads the gains with a jump of 5.9% to 129.3 euros. ArcelorMittal is up 2.67% at 50.32 euros. Eiffage advances by 1.97% to 129.55 euros. Bouygues is up 1.2% at 47.12 euros and Engie rises by 1.14% to 25.76 euros.
Stellantis falls by 19.06% to 6.62 euros, recording by far the steepest decline in the index. Kering is down 5.24% at 245.9 euros. Dassault Systèmes loses 3.73% at 21.91 euros. Capgemini drops 3.64% to 113.75 euros, and Société Générale gives up 3.56% at 71.58 euros.
The spread is distinctly negative with 28 stocks declining versus only 12 advancing among the 40 components of the index. Trading volumes are low. The CAC 40 thus displays a session in decline by midday, dominated by pullbacks and marked by the collapse of Stellantis.
