Catana Group details its 2030 plan: four new models and a factory in Vendée
On the occasion of the opening of the 2026/2027 nautical season and the Cannes Yachting Festival, Catana Group details the progress of its 2030 strategic plan, structured around new models and two industrial projects.
Four new models across four market zones
The group indicates it is entering the 2026/2027 fiscal year by continuing the rollout of its 2030 strategic plan, from which it expects the first effects this year and a return to growth in 2028.
Catana Group plans to finalize four new models across four different market zones, three of which are new to the group. The YOT 53, the group's first habitable motorized catamaran model, is being presented at the Cannes show. The new Bali 4.3 will be presented in spring next year, marking according to the group the launch of a new generation of the Bali brand.
In early 2027, the group will unveil the habitable "resort" version of its Seaty brand, intended for the general public, following a first "office" version presented in September 2025. The Bali 7.0, which marks the brand's entry into very large units, will be developed during the fiscal year for a first presentation at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2027.
Two new factories in France following the July fire
Following the fire of July 2, 2026 that destroyed two assembly buildings at the Canet-en-Roussillon plant (production lines for the Catana OC 50 and Bali 5.8), the group states that it completed site decontamination in August and evacuated the damaged buildings. The option of reconstructing the site was not retained, with priority given to accelerating the construction of a new factory already planned in the 2030 strategy.
Catana Group states that it has received confirmation from the Ministry of Industry that the new Canet factory project is included on the list of 150 industrial projects benefiting from the acceleration initiative known as "Notre-Dame".
Furthermore, the building permit for the new Saint-Jean-d'Hermine plant (Vendée) is in the process of being filed. On a 55,000 m² site, this location will bring together the research and development hub as well as mold and tooling manufacturing, with the objective of eventually internalizing three-quarters of investments in this area. Related activities and recruitment have already begun in temporary facilities.
