Clariane Raises €500M in Bonds at 6.875%, Experiences High Over-Subscription
Clariane has announced the successful issuance of €500 million in senior bonds maturing in 2031, denominated in euros and bearing an annual interest rate of 6.875%.
Successful Bond Issuance
Clariane has issued €500 million in new senior bonds denominated in euros, maturing in 2031. The bonds were issued at 100% of their face value and will bear interest at an annual rate of 6.875%. The offering attracted significant over-subscription from institutional investors both in France and internationally. The settlement-delivery date is scheduled for April 16, 2026.
Purpose of the Funds
Clariane plans to use the net proceeds from the offering, along with its available cash, to refinance its Schuldschein maturing in 2026 and 2027, as well as its Euro PP bonds maturing in 2027 and 2028, either at maturity or earlier.
