Compagnie Lebon Takes Over Operations at Rochefort Thermal Baths
The European Thermalism Company, a subsidiary of Compagnie Lebon, has signed an operating agreement for the Rochefort Thermal Baths, the sixth largest thermal station in France. The agreement will take effect on January 1, 2026, for a period of three years, according to the group.
Details of the Agreement
According to the press release, the agreement signed by the European Thermalism Company is for an initial duration of three years starting from January 1, 2026. The agreement may be renewed for an additional year and includes an option to purchase the Rochefort Thermal Baths. The thermal facility welcomes nearly 15,000 spa visitors annually. The European Thermalism Company operates its establishments under the commercial brand Sources of Balance.
Expansion of the Network
As per the group, the Rochefort station complements the existing network which already includes the thermal baths of Brides-les-Bains and Allevard. The Rochefort facility offers therapeutic orientations in dermatology, phlebology, and buccal-lingual mucous membrane disorders. The establishments in Brides-les-Bains and Allevard, meanwhile, offer orientations in rheumatology, respiratory pathways, and digestive systems, the press release notes. This integration allows the Sources of Balance brand to extend its geographic reach to the Atlantic coast.
Strategic Implications
Philippe Aoun, the legal representative of the European Thermalism Company, stated in the press release that this takeover of operations should sustainably strengthen the subsidiary's results. The group indicates that the combination of the three sites now allows them to offer a broader range of stays, including conventional spa treatments, mini-cures, and short local stays. Compagnie Lebon is a company listed on Euronext Growth, controlled by the Paluel-Marmont family, which relies on two business sectors: operational professions including hospitality and thermalism, and investment professions with real estate and private equity.
