Covivio: 25,000 sqm Leased in CB21 Tower at La Défense
Covivio has announced the strategic repositioning of its flagship CB21 tower in Paris La Défense, in response to changes in work modes and corporate expectations. This transformation, combining new uses, service offerings, and societal commitment, has already achieved significant commercial success with 25,000 sqm leased since the building was vacated in March 2025.
A Commercial Offering Structured in Three Service Levels
Covivio has developed a strategy based on three ranges that allow companies to build custom solutions. The 'Classic' offering includes immediately available spaces in their existing configuration. The 'Superior' offering consists of renovated and modernized floors, prioritizing the reuse of existing equipment. The 'Signature' offering, located in the upper part of the tower, provides fully customized spaces with premium services and panoramic views of Paris. This flexible architecture aims to reconcile quick installation, budget control, environmental performance, and quality of use. Since the release of 44,000 sqm in March 2025, 25,000 sqm have been leased to companies from various sectors: industry, health, energy, food and beverage, and technology.
Premium Services and Event Spaces by 2027-2028
The repositioning of CB21 includes several unprecedented services planned for 2027 and 2028. The tower will feature a 500 sqm rooftop that can be privatized, a unique space in La Défense due to its size and perspective. A bistronomic restaurant on the 41st floor will offer panoramic views of Paris. The 'SkySuites' on the 40th and 41st floors will include flexible reception areas (for seminars, receptions, events), a cathedral lounge on a double height, reception rooms, a mezzanine, a bar, and two apartment suites convertible into offices. Additionally, new conference spaces and multipurpose areas will enhance networking and new work modes. The project was designed by Covivio's teams and architect Nicolas Sisto, reinterpreting the design codes of the 1970s to transform this 1974 tower into a modern destination. The tower continues on an ambitious environmental trajectory, with ongoing certifications and goals for HQE, BREEAM, Active Score, WiredScore, BiodiverCity, and Osmoz labels by 2028.
A Place Open to the Community with a Social Dimension
Covivio positions CB21 beyond its strict real estate functions, making it a place open to its environment. The bistronomic restaurant and the rooftop will be accessible to the public, including those not working in the tower. The building currently hosts the 'DesCodeuses' collective on more than 700 sqm, supporting women from underprivileged neighborhoods into digital professions with the support of the Covivio Foundation. This programming reflects Covivio's desire to create a venue that generates social and economic value for the La Défense area.
