Covivio share slides 2% and extends a 17% decline over the quarter
The Metz-based real estate company retreats during the session as the Paris Stock Exchange records a sharp decline, amid tensions over French debt. The security sinks further into a downtrend that has been in place for several months.
A share below all its moving averages, down 17% from the 200-day MA
The Covivio share falls 1.76% to €43.54, compared to €44.32 at the last close, while the CAC 40 loses 1.36% and the SBF 120 1.33%. It thus ranks in the lower half of the SBF 120, without any superlatives. The price is below the 20-day MA (difference of 2.35%), the 50-day MA (9.08%) and the 200-day MA (17.96%), a configuration that extends a decline of 17.15% over three months and 24.61% over one year.
The week's modest rebound, barely 1.54% in seven days, was not enough to reverse the trend. The support at €42.64 is approximately 2% below the current price: this is the threshold the security would approach in case of a further decline.
