Danone Finalizes Dairy Joint Venture with Arcor in Argentina
Danone and Arcor announced on August 3, 2026 the completion of their joint venture in dairy products in Argentina. The transaction combines Danone Argentina SA's dairy operations (with thirty years of presence in the country), Mastellone Hermanos SA (present for nearly a century in the market) and their joint logistics subsidiary Logistica La Serenísima, building on over twenty years of partnership between the two groups.
Danone now exercises equal control within the joint venture with Arcor, with a stake of 50%. The transaction became effective on August 1, 2026. Since this date, it has been accounted for in the Equity-accounted investees of Danone's consolidated accounts, reflecting the co-control status of the two partners.
