Danone Reorganizes Its Geographical Zones and Modifies Its Reporting Starting 2026
Starting in 2026, Danone will adapt its reporting structure by aligning its performance indicators with three new geographical zones: EMEA, Americas, and APAC. This reorganization, effective from January 1, 2026, will change how the group's financial data is presented.
From January 1, 2026, Danone will operate around three redefined geographical zones. The EMEA zone encompasses Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the CIS. The Americas zone includes North America and Latin America. The APAC zone refers to Asia-Pacific, including China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the rest of Asia. This new organization, announced on August 26, 2025, replaces the group's previous segmentation.

Starting in 2026, Danone will present its key performance indicators according to these three new geographical zones: revenue, growth in comparable data, current operating result, and current operating margin. To facilitate the transition, the group will initially report the revenue of the three former regions. Concurrently, Danone will continue to publish reporting by product category (Dairy and Plant-based Products, Specialized Nutrition, and Waters) including revenue, current operating result, and current operating margin. The 2024 and 2025 indicators have been restated according to this new scope.
