DBV Technologies shares fall 32% over three months and slip further by 3.5%
The Châtillon biotech is losing ground in mid-morning trading, within a SBF 120 index clearly oriented downwards. This decline extends a downward trend established over several weeks, despite the application filed with the FDA at the end of September.
A security trading below its three moving averages and far from its support level
The security is down 3.67% to €1.68, while the SBF 120 is declining by 1.49%. It is trading below its 20-day moving average (€1.78, a deviation of -5.62%), its 50-day moving average (€2.10) and its 200-day moving average (€2.98). The decline reaches 21.2% over one month and 32.09% over three months, while the RSI at 38 remains below the neutral zone without touching oversold territory.
The support level at €1.57 is approximately 6.5% below the current price, which still leaves room before a test. This movement follows several sessions of comparable selling pressure. The security had already fallen below €1.77 on October 8, a level now clearly surpassed to the downside. This session also erases part of the week's gains: DBV Technologies shares still show +5.2% over seven days.
Short positions decline to 2.89% of capital ahead of October 28 results
Declared net short positions reach 2.89% of capital, distributed among four funds, according to the declarations consulted (latest declaration on October 19). They stood at 3.83% thirty days ago: the decline of 0.94 percentage points may reflect profit-taking or unwound hedges, without allowing conclusions to be drawn about the intentions of these funds. The level nevertheless remains higher than that of a security with limited attention.
On the fundamentals side, the company indicated when publishing H1 2026 results on July 16 that it had sufficient cash until the third quarter of 2027 and expected to file an application with the FDA in the third quarter of 2026. The filing did take place at the end of September. Third quarter 2026 results are expected on October 28.
