Delfingen and Askara Sign Joint-Venture Agreement in Indonesia
Delfingen SA and PT Askara Internal have announced the signing of a Joint-Venture agreement in Indonesia on January 28, 2026.
Strategic Alliance Formed
Delfingen SA, a global leader in cable protection solutions for the automotive and industrial markets, and PT Askara Internal, an Indonesian company specializing in the production of cable harnesses and injected plastic and rubber parts, have signed a Joint-Venture agreement. This alliance aims to jointly address the evolving Indonesian market for automobiles, two-wheelers, and all-terrain vehicles. The partnership involves integrating Delfingen's technologies and expertise within a new joint facility based in Purwakarta, Java.
Objectives of the Partnership
According to the press release, the partnership aims to achieve three main objectives: enhance the local integration rate for vehicles manufactured in Indonesia, provide a complete cable protection solution with local storage and just-in-time delivery capabilities, and introduce new solutions dedicated to batteries and electric vehicles. Delfingen employs 3,800 staff and has a global presence with 40 offices in 20 countries. PT Askara Internal employs about 4,000 people and was established in 1996.
