A Decline That Hands Control Back to Moving Averages
The Eramet stock loses 1.72% to €44.54 during the session, while the SBF 120 rises 0.1%. Over one week, the stock remains up 0.86%, but it has fallen 25.27% over one year. This decline places it among the largest declines in the index, alongside Medincell, TF1, and S.E.B.
The price holds at the level of the MA20 (€44.40), while it remains below the MA50 (€45.29, a gap of 1.66%) and the MA200 (€53.35). The RSI at 55 signals neither overbought nor oversold conditions, and support at €43.00 remains approximately 3.5% below the current price. This session follows Friday's rebound, which had driven the stock toward its resistance level.
Brent Above $105 and the Group Under Market Scrutiny
Brent is trading at $105.68 per barrel (+0.92% in the session, +3.4% over seven days), a level that weighs on fuel costs for the mining sector. In terms of operations, the group exploits manganese in Gabon, nickel in Indonesia, and is developing lithium through direct extraction, including the expansion of its Centenario-Ratones site in Argentina, for which it applied for the RIGI regime on October 2. The group also repurchased €7 million in shares over twelve months, representing 0.5% of its market capitalization, according to the latest available filing. The level to watch remains support at €43.00, which the stock had approached in mid-September.
