Drone Volt Accelerates Internationally: Mission in Norway and Exhibition in Australia
The French manufacturer of professional drones announced on Monday a successful mission of sensor installation on a high-voltage network in Norway, as well as a significant presence at a major sector exhibition in Australia. These operations illustrate the acceleration of its international development in the energy infrastructure sector.
Sensor Installation on High-Voltage Infrastructure in Norway
Drone Volt Expert's specialized Powerline teams carried out a mission to install DLR (Dynamic Line Rating) sensors in Norway using the proprietary LineDrone DLR system. The operation took place on an electrical network with very high tension reaching up to 735,000 volts, in an environment characterized by rugged terrain, dense vegetation, and significant access constraints. This expertise is part of the strategic partnership with Ampacimon, aimed at assisting electrical network managers in optimizing their infrastructures.
The LineDrone DLR system allows for the rapid and secure installation of monitoring sensors, without service interruption. These sensors optimize the real-time transit capacities of electrical lines, contribute to improving network resilience, and facilitate the integration of renewable energies.
Strategic Presence at Australian Energy Week 2026
Drone Volt participated in the Australian Energy Week 2026, which took place from June 9 to 12 in Melbourne. This event brought together key players in energy production, transportation, and distribution from the Asia-Pacific region. Alongside Ampacimon, Drone Volt's teams met with electrical network managers, energy producers, transport and distribution operators, as well as high-voltage sector stakeholders, to discuss network optimization, increased transit capacities, reliability of critical infrastructures, and the integration of technologies serving the energy transition.
