Drone Volt Wins Order for 12 Héliplane Drones Worth €1.4 M, with Delivery in Q1 2027
The civil professional drone manufacturer reported on 5 November 2026 an order whose delivery and invoicing will take place in the first quarter of 2027.
The company presents it as an important first step in the commercial deployment of its vertical take-off and landing drone, and says it expects further orders for deliveries in 2027.
A First Batch of Long-Endurance Vertical Take-Off Drones
The order covers a first batch of 12 Héliplane drones, a long-endurance vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft developed by Drone Volt. According to the company, this type of platform is intended for surveillance, inspection and security missions over large areas.
Marc Courcelle, Chief Executive Officer of Drone Volt, said the order is “the culmination of several months of negotiations.” The group had presented the Héliplane in Madagascar on 21 October 2026, during the official visit of Catherine Vautrin, Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs.
Approximately €1.4 M in Revenue Expected in Q1 2027
The total value of the order represents approximately €1.4 million in revenue, fully delivered and invoiced in the first quarter of 2027. Drone Volt states that this order will help support its growth trajectory in activities it describes as “high-margin.”
For reference, the group had published consolidated billings of €1.856 million for the third quarter of 2026 on 14 October 2026, down 3% year on year. The next financial event is scheduled for 13 January 2027, with the publication of annual revenue.
Management Points to Other Ongoing Negotiations
Beyond this order, Drone Volt says it expects to secure significant new orders for its drones and solutions from other partners in the near future, for deliveries scheduled during 2027.
Marc Courcelle stated: “Other negotiations of the same kind are currently underway and could be finalized within the coming weeks.” The executive sees in this the illustration of “the relevance of our strategic pivot.”
