Ekinops has been selected to equip the Project THOR, a regional 'Middle Mile' fiber network of the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG). This major enhancement of the project aims to provide resilient connectivity to isolated mountain communities in Northwest Colorado.
Ekinops supplies its redundant ROADM optical solutions and its FlexRate™ coherent technology to Project THOR, a shared network of the NWCCOG. This 'Middle Mile' fiber network serves local communities, educational institutions, hospitals, emergency services, and broadband service providers along the I-70 corridor in Northwest Colorado. The project connects these infrastructures to high-capacity internet and cloud services.
