Eramet Shares Fall by 2.5% and Dip Below Moving Averages
The mining and metallurgical group is on the decline in mid-morning trading, moving against the trend of a generally positive Parisian market. The stock is giving back some of the gains made last week and remains trapped below all its moving averages.
The Stock Falls Below €52 and Ranks Among the Biggest Declines in the SBF 120
Eramet shares drop by 2.55% to €51.65 in mid-morning trading, while the CAC 40 is up by 0.70% and the SBF 120 advances by 0.68%. The stock is among the biggest losers in the SBF 120 during the session, in a market that is otherwise well-oriented due to geopolitical easing and a decline in Brent prices. This movement erases part of the rebound from last Thursday, when the stock had jumped by 8%. Over the month, the stock is now down by 7.27%, despite a nearly 13% gain over the year.

Today's decline places the stock below its MM20 (€53.29, a gap of -3.08%) and increases the distance from the MM200 (€56.97, a gap of -9.34%). The technical setup remains unfavorable in the medium term, as the price has been below all its moving averages since mid-May. The RSI at 49 returns to the neutral zone, indicating the exhaustion of the rebound that began at the start of the month from the €48.30 support level. Regarding fundamental news, the general assembly on May 27 approved a €500 million capital increase, and on June 10 the group entered into a framework agreement with Lithosquare and the BRGM on AI applied to critical metals. The €48.30 zone remains the next technical level to watch if the decline continues.
