Eviden (Atos) Launches Elit AI, an AI-Driven Radar Sensor Ordered by the DGA
Eviden, the product division of Atos Group specializing in critical systems, announced on Monday the launch of Elit AI, a next-generation radar interception sensor developed by Avantix. This system incorporates sovereign artificial intelligence and has already been ordered by the French Directorate General of Armaments (DGA-MI).
An ELINT Sensor Equipped with AI to Detect Next-Generation Radars
Elit AI is an electronic intelligence (ELINT) sensor designed to detect, analyze, and identify complex radar signals with low probability of interception (LPI). Enhanced by artificial intelligence, its capabilities allow for real-time radar tactical situation awareness and faster identification of next-generation radar waves.
The system meets the challenges of detecting complex radar waveforms that can dynamically alter their emission signals at reduced powers. Elit AI integrates adaptive software radio technologies and sovereign AI capabilities fully developed by Eviden's research and development team.
A Flexible Platform Integrated into the Defense Ecosystem
Elit AI consists of a flexible and scalable hardware and software platform, which can be integrated into various carriers or environments. The sensor is characterized by improved sensitivity that extends its detection range, as well as increased agility due to its wide spectral bandwidth.
The system offers configurable functionalities in terms of scanning strategy, real-time tactical display, recording trigger, and in-depth technical analyses. Combined with other solutions in Avantix's ELINT range (Caracal for the radar signal database and Oscar for in-depth analysis), Elit AI provides a comprehensive solution for radar threat management.
