Exosens share falls 1.5% and loses SBF 120 leadership after two wild trading sessions
Exosens is losing ground this Tuesday, moving contrary to a slightly higher SBF 120, just days after two spectacular trading sessions that followed the upward revision of its annual targets. The decline occurs as Invest Securities raised its price target the day before, reflecting a divergence between analyst momentum and the stock's trading performance.
Invest Securities raises its target to €70 following annual target revision
The brokerage Invest Securities updated its opinion on Exosens on Monday, September 21, maintaining its buy rating while raising its price target from €67 to €70. This represents an upside potential of just over 16% compared to the current price. This revision follows the two strong trading sessions recorded following the publication of new annual targets on September 17, when the company projected approximately 20% growth in revenue (up to €570 million) and around 25% growth in adjusted EBITDA for 2026.
The share surged nearly 10% that day, then gained an additional 3.5% on September 18, posting the best performance of the SBF 120 in that session. Today's correction, modest compared to these two jumps, appears more like a consolidation of the move than a trend reversal, especially since the weekly gain remains above 9%.
Solid technical configuration despite today's decline and trailing position in SBF 120
Exosens is trading at €59.85 in today's session, placing it among the biggest decliners in the SBF 120 with a drop of 1.64%. Despite this decline, the moving average configuration remains favorable: the stock is holding above its three reference moving averages, with a spread of 3.82% above the 20-day MA (€57.65) and 1.29% above the 200-day MA (€59.09). The 50-day MA at €59.54 is nearly touching the current price, making it the most immediate moving average level to watch if the decline continues.
The RSI at 58 reflects a neutral to slightly bullish configuration, with no overbought signal despite the two consecutive up sessions last week. The identified support at €54.15 remains nearly 10% away from the current price, while resistance at €66.80 roughly corresponds to Invest Securities' revised target. The nine-month results, expected on October 27, will constitute the next key reference point to measure progress toward the revised annual targets.
