Exosens shares rebound 2.5% after Q3 revenue rises 23.5%
The Bordeaux-based optronics specialist recovered late in the session, in a well-oriented Paris market. This move erases the decline of previous sessions, against a backdrop of still-tense interest rates and as the group recently published a third quarter showing strong growth.
A rebound that pushes the share price back above the MM20 and up to the MM50
Exosens shares gain 2.53% to €58.65 while the SBF 120 rises 1.25%. The stock thus moves back above its MM20 at €57.88 (a gap of +1.33%) and touches its MM50 at €58.43, after falling nearly 2% on Wednesday following the publication of its revenue.
The MM200 at €60.29 remains 2.72% above the share price, which caps the upward rebound. The RSI at 50 is neutral: the day's session did not significantly move the indicator. Over three months, the stock is virtually flat (+0.34%), and it retains a 24% gain over one year.
Q3 revenue up 23.5% but gross margin declines to 48.6%
On October 27, the group reported third-quarter revenue of €133.8 million, up 23.5%, or 20.5% at constant scope and exchange rates, compared with 11.4% in the first half. According to Exosens, this acceleration is supported by demand for night vision and defense imaging.
The adjusted gross margin rate nonetheless declines to 48.6%, compared with 52.1% a year earlier, a product mix effect according to the group, which confirmed its 2026 targets raised on September 17.
The French bond market, with a 10-year OAT at 4.89% as of October 29 and a spread of 1.53 points over the Bund, forms the backdrop to the session. The next technical level to watch is the MM200, at €60.29.
