A Marked Rebound Propels Exosens Among the Top Gainers of the SBF 120
Exosens stock gains 4.8% to €61.15, among the strongest rises in the SBF 120, while the broader index advances by 0.74% during the session. This movement occurs in a supportive market climate, with the CAC 40 up by 0.76% at 8,447.5 points and the DAX up by 1.14%, bolstered by the preliminary agreement between Washington and Tehran which extends the ceasefire and plans the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. This geopolitical easing lowers the oil risk premium and fosters a return of risk appetite for European stocks.
The rebound of the day reduces the decline accumulated over three months, with the stock still down 8.6% over this period. However, over the past year, the performance remains strong at over 43%, driven by the sustainable repositioning of the Paris defense sector.
The Stock Reapproaches Its Short-Term Moving Averages After Several Sessions of Decline
Today's rise brings the stock back in contact with its short-term moving averages, from which it had diverged in recent sessions. The price remains slightly below the MM20 (€63.11) and MM50 (€63.09), with a gap of about 3% in both cases, while it still trades significantly above the MM200 (€53.94), with a cushion of more than 13%. The RSI at 38 indicates the exhaustion of sellers in previous sessions and accompanies the technical rebound observed in the morning.
The support identified at €56.45 was not tested during the recent decline, with the stock stabilizing higher before rebounding. The next resistance is at €69.20, a level corresponding to the area of recent highs. As a reminder, the group unveiled in early June its multi-sensor strategy for tactical military vision, an industrial step that is part of the group's repositioning on the most dynamic defense segments.
