Exosens Stock Falls Over 2% and Ranks Among the Worst Declines of the SBF 120
The French specialist in night vision and imaging technology for defense is markedly down at midday, while the Paris stock market enjoys a breath of optimism. The stock is at the bottom of the SBF 120 after several already turbulent sessions. The technical setup is deteriorating in the short term.
Exosens in Sharp Decline While the SBF 120 Advances Nearly 1.8%
Exosens stock falls by 2.26% to €60.50, among the steepest declines of the SBF 120, even as the broader index gains 1.76% and the CAC 40 surges by 1.81%. The stock's downturn contrasts with the overall dynamics of a Parisian market boosted by Brent crude dipping below $90, following Donald Trump's mention of a possible peace deal in the Middle East.
The movement extends a turbulent sequence: Exosens has fallen by 3.43% over the week and 9.57% over three months, despite a solid annual performance still at +43%. Today's session follows on the heels of a failed rebound observed yesterday, already documented at midday, which did not allow the stock to sustainably recover.
The Stock Falls Below Its 20 and 50-Day Moving Averages, Indicating Short-Term Deterioration
In terms of technical benchmarks, Exosens is now trading 4% below its MM20 at €63.02 and 4.3% below its MM50 at €63.24, two thresholds that had previously served as support since mid-May. The RSI at 48 remains neutral and does not indicate any excess, which leaves the door open for a continuation of the movement without immediate reversal signals. The underlying trend, however, remains bullish, with the price 12.6% above the MM200 at €53.74.
The support at €56.45 marks the next observation zone in case the decline continues. The medium-term dynamics are still driven by the group's recent industrial announcements, including the unveiling of a multi-sensor strategy for military tactical vision a few days ago and integration into the European SPIRIT project on infrared defense detection.
