Forvia Partners with Raiqon to Automate Its Technical Specifications with AI
The Nanterre-based automotive supplier and Raiqon GmbH, a company specialising in AI solutions for regulated engineering environments, announced their agreement on 29 October 2026. The jointly developed solution is integrated into the IBM DOORS environment already used by Forvia, without disrupting established workflows, according to the press release.
AI Applied to Projects Comprising Up to 15,000 Specifications
The partnership, described as strategic by both companies, concerns the application of artificial intelligence to specification engineering. This stage of product development consists of defining, analysing and managing the technical requirements of a given product.
The volume to be processed is substantial: depending on the complexity of the product, a development project may include up to 15,000 individual specifications. The solution automates the analysis, evaluation and processing of these requirements, with the stated objective of improving productivity and accelerating development.
A Multi-Agent Platform Being Adapted at Forvia Hella and Clarion
The solution is based on Raiqon's multi-agent AI platform and is deployed within Forvia's secure IT environment. It integrates data from several engineering applications and is being adapted to the specific needs of Forvia Hella and Clarion Electronics.
Among the automated tasks are the analysis of specifications, the identification of similarities, the reuse of previous evaluations, the detection of inconsistencies and the automatic creation of missing links. According to the press release, reducing manual tasks allows engineers to focus on new product features.
A Collaboration Included in the IGNITE Transformation Programme
Martin Fischer, CEO of Forvia, places this collaboration “within the framework of our IGNITE transformation programme”, which he says is intended to accelerate the digital transformation of the group's engineering processes.
Joerg Weisgerber, General Manager of the Forvia Hella Electronics division, describes a “tailor-made” solution enabling teams to handle “a significantly larger volume of requirements”.
On the Raiqon side, its CEO Szabi Koppany says the company is welcoming Forvia as a new partner within its network, with a technology specifically designed for the automotive supplier's development environment.
