Forvia stock among the strongest declines of the SBF 120, down -12% over one year
The automotive equipment manufacturer is among the most lagging values of the broad index, while the Paris market is advancing significantly. The stock has just experienced an eventful start to the month, with several sharp movements in both directions.
A decline running counter to a rising Paris index
The Forvia stock falls 2.04% to €8.91 in trading, while the SBF 120 gains 0.51% and the CAC 40 rises 0.5%. The value ranks 116th out of 120 in the index, at the bottom of the ranking, far behind EssilorLuxottica (+14.52%) and Atos Group (+13.31%) in the lead. This decline follows an initial drop of 2.5% on Monday, which had erased part of the previous week's rebound. The stock nevertheless maintains a gain of 2.01% over one week, but remains at -12.44% over one year.
A price moving increasingly away from its 200-day moving average
The price is at €8.91, above the MA20 (€8.84, difference of +0.84%) and below the MA50 (€9.07, difference of -1.72%). The MA200, at €10.43, remains 14.53% above the price, illustrating the lag accumulated by the value over the long term. The support at €8.42 had been tested in early October before a rebound of nearly 10% on October 7, supported by an agreement with Indian Anand in seating.
On the short positions side, four funds cumulate 3.81% of the capital, in a slight decline of 0.14 points over thirty days according to the filings consulted. The level remains notable for the value, without any clear net movement emerging during the month. The resistance at €9.73 constitutes the next observable high level in the data.
