Forvia: the stock ranks among the strongest gains on the SBF 120 with nearly 6%
The automotive supplier is experiencing a clear recovery in early afternoon, in a slightly positive Parisian market. The movement erases part of the weakness of recent weeks and brings the security closer to a resistance zone it had attempted to approach in early October.
A rebound that brings the stock back above its short-term moving averages
The Forvia stock gains 5.93% to €9.32 and ranks among the strongest gains on the SBF 120, while the index advances 0.37%. The jump, which extends a weekly gain of 7.77%, allows it to move back above its MA20 (€8.86) and MA50 (€9.07), respectively 5.19% and 2.76% below the current price. The MA200, at €10.51, however remains 11.32% above the current price, which limits the upside move.
The resistance at €9.93 is approximately 6.5% from the current price, when the support at €8.42 is lower. The immediate context is that of a supplier that has made multiple announcements in recent days. On October 14, the group brought artificial intelligence into its executive committee with Raphaël Viard, reporting directly to Martin Fischer, and entrusted its chief operating officer with the Japan, India, Korea and ASEAN regions.
Short positions stable at 3.81% of capital, despite a tense bond market
Net declared short positions on the stock reach 3.81% of capital, distributed among four funds, according to the consulted declarations. This level is nearly unchanged over thirty days (3.82% a month ago, or -0.01 point). A limited share of capital therefore remains sold short, without notable acceleration or visible covering movement over the period.
On the market side, the Paris session is taking place as the 10-year OAT stands at 4.74% on October 15, with a spread of 1.35 points against the Bund, and as the examination of the 2027 budget continues in the Assembly. Brent is trading at $106.37 per barrel, up 0.42%. The next technical level to monitor for the stock is the resistance at €9.93.
