GTT Secures Order for Two 174,000 m³ LNG Carriers
GTT has announced that in the fourth quarter of 2025, it received an order from Samsung Heavy Industries for the design of tanks for two new LNG carriers intended for the shipowner Purus, according to the press release issued by the company.
GTT will be responsible for the design of the cryogenic tanks, which will each have a total capacity of 174,000 m³. Both units will incorporate the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, a technology developed by GTT and widely used in LNG transport.
