GTT share falls below €207 and slides into SBF 120 bottom
The specialist in methane carrier tanks declines during the session, in a Paris market oriented downwards. The pullback extends a difficult week and pushes the security below a technical threshold monitored for several days.
The €207 support gives way as the share drops below its short-term moving averages
GTT share loses 1.83% to €203.60, while the SBF 120 falls 0.72% and the CAC 40 0.69%. The share drops below its €207 support level, a threshold it had maintained until now. It now trades 5.4% below its 20-day moving average, following a 6% decline over one week. The MACD is negative and the RSI, at 40, remains neutral.
This is therefore not an excess of selling pressure. This move places GTT in the lower part of the SBF 120 ranking, with a decline of 1.83%. while Medincell, Abivax and Sanofi lead the session. The share nevertheless maintains some leeway over the long term: it still trades 2.8% above its 200-day moving average and shows +9.3% over three months. Resistance is located at €227.

Net short positions declared on GTT reach 2.91% of capital, distributed among four funds, up 1.02 points in one month. This rapid increase indicates that a growing share of capital is positioned bearishly. It says nothing about the motivations of these players, who may also seek to hedge an exposure. This point therefore deserves to be monitored without being over-interpreted.
In its latest episode of gains in mid-October, the share had rebounded after two analyst upgrades. Following the publication of the first half 2026 results on July 28, the group had confirmed its full-year targets, with an order book of €1.9 billion. Third quarter 2026 figures are expected on October 23.
