GTT Shares Hit New Historic High After Exceptional Annual Results
On Friday, February 20, GTT soared at the Paris Stock Exchange, reaching a new historic high of 190.60 euros, up by 2.58% compared to the previous day. This surge followed the announcement of record annual revenues for 2025. Over the year, the stock of the cryogenic containment systems manufacturer has now increased by more than 40%.
Record-Breaking Performance Following Annual Results
The share price of GTT surpassed its previous peak of 187.90 euros, set on February 3, to record a new absolute high. This surge directly followed the February 19 publication of the annual accounts for the fiscal year 2025. The company unveiled a record revenue of 803 million euros, driven by a third consecutive year of robust growth. The global demand for LNG carriers, the main driver of the group's activity, fueled a vigorous increase in both revenue and profitability. This new revenue milestone confirms the upward trajectory of the company, a specialist in containment technologies for the transport of liquefied natural gas. The next financial milestone to watch is the publication of the first quarter 2026 revenue, scheduled for April 22.
Significant Day on the Charts
Graphically, today's session holds particular significance. The GTT stock has decisively broken through its resistance at 186.60 euros, a level that had capped the prices for several weeks. This breakthrough, accompanied by a weekly performance of 7.38%, reflects a strong bullish momentum. The price is now well above its 50-day moving average (169.67 euros) and 200-day moving average (165.14 euros), indicating a solidly upward trend in the medium and long term. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 59, a level that reflects buying pressure without signaling an overbought zone. However, the widening gap between the current price and the upper Bollinger band, set at 184.34 euros, indicates that the stock has significantly moved away from its recent fluctuation average. It is noteworthy that the negative beta of -0.21 confirms the stock's low historical correlation with the overall market, a characteristic of the company's very specific sector positioning.
