Halved in twelve months, Vusion stock loses further ground
The manufacturer of electronic shelf labels is retreating in late afternoon trading, in a Paris market distinctly oriented downward. The decline erases much of the rebound observed since the publication of half-year results and brings the stock back to closely monitored technical levels.
Vusion falls below its 50-day moving average and moves away from the 200-MA
The stock declined 2.67% to 124.10 €, while the SBF 120 retreated 1.38%. Following the 10.5% surge on September 22, Vusion stock fell below its 50-day moving average at 126.81 €, a deviation of 2.14%. The 200-day moving average, at 130.42 €, remains 4.85% above the current price.
The price remains glued to its 20-day moving average (123.53 €), which serves as an immediate floor, with a lower support at 114.60 €. Over twelve months, the security has lost nearly 50% and the quarter remains negative by 11.36%, while the month is approximately stable (+0.4%). In a market penalized by tensions over French debt, with a 10-year OAT at 4.83% according to the Bank of France survey of October 7, today's decline is part of a general movement and cannot be attributed to the company.
Half-year results that bolster annual targets, against rising short positions
Upon publication of first-half 2026 results on September 21, the group indicated that its half-year results were in line with its profitable growth objectives and reiterated its annual outlook. Half-year revenue increased by 34%, with adjusted EBITDA of 160 M€. On the short-selling side, seven funds cumulatively hold 4.46% of capital according to reviewed declarations, up 0.47 points over a month (3.99% previously). This level shows that some institutional investors remain positioned against the security or are seeking to hedge an exposure, without knowing the precise motives. The 200-day moving average at 130.42 € remains the next technical level for the stock to recapture.
